Shares of companies that make recreational vehicles rose Tuesday after an RBC Capital Markets analyst upgraded shares of Winnebago Industries Inc. ahead of the company's fiscal fourth-quarter results.
Edward Aaron upgraded shares of Winnebago, which reports its earnings Thursday, to "Outperform" from "Sector Perform." He said higher prices and stronger sales of Class A and Class C vehicles will make for a better quarter, and those trends could last into fiscal 2008.
The stock gained $2.33, or 8.9 percent, to $28.48.
Aaron was less optimistic about the rest of the sector, but shares gained ground with the broader market. Here are the results of other key stocks:
Fleetwood Enterprises Inc., up 29 cents, or 3.1 percent, to $9.71.
Thor Industries Inc. advanced 87 cents to a 52-week high of $50.12.
Monaco Coach Corp. added 7 cents to $13.99.
Coachmen Industries Inc. edged up 11 cents to $6.36, recovering from an all-time low of $6.21 earlier in the session.
