picnicking, fishing and all types of water sports, as well as nature and
wildlife viewing.
Although surrounded by the beautiful Sonoran Desert, we're only minutes from the metro Phoenix area, the "Valley of the Sun" -- one of the largest metropolitan areas in the country -- with its shopping malls, theaters and quality restaurants. Apache Junction, located on the eastern edge of this "Valley", offers large supermarkets, full service banks, restaurants, churches and medical services. The sun shines 300 days a year and the average temperature is 72 degrees. Our on-site activity director maintains an active schedule for your
